Managing stress

Managing stress

Goal: Dealing with work-related stress, promoting reflection, relaxation, and mindfulness for clear work structures and inner serenity.

Target audience: PhD students, post-docs, junior group leaders, and researchers in later career stages.

Benefits for your career phase: Concrete techniques to manage persistent stress and minimize its effects on productivity, relationships, and health.

Brief description: Work-related stress often occurs in various forms and can significantly impact our professional and personal lives, especially when it is persistent. These effects can manifest in reduced productivity, strained relationships, and negative impacts on health. Since work-related stress is often unavoidable, it is essential to find solutions and support mechanisms to effectively cope with it.

The goal of this four-part workshop is to reflect on the perception of stress and to create clear work structures and organization through relaxation, mindfulness, and inner distance, thereby combining inner serenity and productivity in daily work.
