Diversity at HHU stands for a variety of attitudes and perspectives resulting from individual personal characteristics and lifestyles (=dimensions). This diversity is seen as an enrichment in academic discourse.
Heine-Center for Sustainable Development
Sustainability management at HHU is institutionally anchored in the Heine Centre for Sustainable Development - Diversity, Environment and Health (HCSD).
Welcome to the website of the Heine Centre for Sustainable Development at HHU! We welcome everyone and are pleased to present you with all the important information about sustainability at HHU.
The HCSD is the central contact point where we shape sustainable development together with HHU members and institutions.
As such
- we develop strategy proposals for the university as a whole and within the individual fields of action
- we implement our own measures such as awareness-raising and training programmes
- we support academics in their work in research and teaching
- promote the development of the university as a sustainable place to research, study and work
- we inform and advise committed and interested HHU members, communicate on sustainability activities at HHU and network active and interested parties in the context of sustainable development
