[Translate to English:] eCHECKUP TO GO - Alkohol
Cheers to the weekend? Glasses raised for the end of the semester?
Wherever there’s something to celebrate, people often drink. Beer, wine, spirits—the choice is huge. But when does the next drink become one too many?
Have you ever thought about how much and how often you drink? More than other students? Or rather the other way around?
eCHECKUP TO GO is an anonymous, automated self-test that can easily be completed online. You receive immediate personal and confidential feedback on your alcohol consumption and on the effects of alcohol use on your body, your finances, and your studies.
eCHECKUP TO GO Alcohol is a self-contained, web-based prevention program for students. It was developed by San Diego State University (USA) and is used worldwide at more than 600 institutions. For universities in Germany, the English original version of the program was translated, adapted, and evaluated at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences as part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Health.
eCHECKUP TO GO Alcohol is provided to you by HHU Düsseldorf and Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, with support from BARMER, as part of the cooperation project “eCHECKUP – Prevention of risky alcohol consumption among students”. If you have questions about the program, please feel free to contact health(at)hhu.de.
